Optional Cloud Backup
We only collect data when you opt into the paid cloud backup subscription so your budgets are stored as a safety copy. This data is used solely for syncing and backing up your budgets, and it is never accessed for advertising or analytics.
Local-First Storage
By default, every budget entry, spending record, and goal stays on your device. Cloud sync is optional, and you can disable it at any time while still keeping your local data intact.
No Photos or Recordings Stored
YBUD does not store or back up photos, screenshots, voice recordings, or any media beyond the budget data you explicitly save. Any additional media you capture stays entirely within your device’s local storage.
Internet Connection & Apple Sign-in
The core app works fully offline. An internet connec tion and Apple Sign-In are only needed when you enable cloud sync so your data can be backed up and restored securely. Premium features like voice entry and receipt scanning do not require sign-in.
No Ads or Third-Party Tracking
There are no advertisements, trackers, or third-party analytics in YBUD. The experience stays focused on your budgeting without external interruptions.
Your Data, Your Control
You remain in complete control. Local data can be edited, exported, or deleted from within the app, and any cloud backups tied to your subscription can be removed through the same settings.
Delete Account
If you ever want to stop using YBUD, you can delete your account and associated cloud backup directly from the app’s settings. This removes any data we stored as part of the subscription service.
