Information We Collect
We collect your email address (and optionally your name) when you create an account. Files you upload or connect via cloud storage are processed solely to perform renaming — we do not retain file content beyond the duration needed to complete your job. We also log usage actions such as jobs created and templates saved to improve the product. Payment details are handled by Stripe; we store only a Stripe customer ID.
How We Use Your Information
We use your data to provide, operate, and improve RenameHub; to authenticate you and keep your account secure; to process payments; to send transactional emails; and to respond to support requests. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
File Privacy & Deletion
Uploaded files are processed solely for renaming and are permanently deleted from our storage within 48 hours of upload, regardless of whether the job has completed. We do not sell your files and we never use them to train any AI or large language model.
Third-Party Services
RenameHub connects to Dropbox (for cloud storage), Stripe (for payments), and Google Gemini API (for AI-assisted classification). File names and document metadata may be sent to Google's AI API for classification — no file content beyond what is necessary for naming is transmitted. Your use of those platforms is governed by their respective terms and privacy policies.
Cookies
We use strictly necessary session cookies to keep you authenticated, preference cookies for UI settings, and anonymised analytics cookies to understand feature usage. You can decline non-essential cookies using the banner shown on first visit.
Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete the personal data we hold about you. To exercise any of these rights, email admin@studio074.dev. We will respond within 30 days.

Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using RenameHub, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
Accounts
You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your credentials and for all activity under your account. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to use RenameHub for any unlawful purpose, upload files containing malware or illegal content, attempt to gain unauthorized access to the service or other accounts, or process files you do not own or are not authorized to rename.
Subscription & Billing
Paid plans are billed monthly in advance through Stripe. Subscription fees are non-refundable except where required by applicable law. Rename credits consumed by successfully completed rename operations are non-refundable regardless of whether the resulting file names meet your expectations. Your plan includes a monthly rename limit; exceeding it will prevent new jobs until the next billing period.
Your Content
You retain ownership of all files you upload or connect to the service. We process your files solely to perform the renaming operations you request. We do not use your file content for any other purpose, including model training.
Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability
RenameHub is provided 'as is' without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that AI-generated file names will be accurate or meet your requirements. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
